From a college student to a college professor, Dr. Karen Ratliff is the founder of “The College Bootcamp.” Dr. Ratliff has over 10 years experience in the field of Education. Her experience includes educator, school administrator, non-profit administrator, and a consultant. Dr. Ratliff has a B.S. in Organizational Communications, M.A. in Training and Development, and Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction. She has a passion for teaching and learning and the assurance of access and equity for all learners. Dr. Ratliff has been recognized for decreasing dropout rates and innovative instruction. She sets a high bar for student performance and parent involvement. Dr. Karen Ratliff facilitates Master and Doctorate courses to educators and administrators pursuing degrees in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Ratliff fearlessly addressed issues of generational poverty, lack of school resources, and low staff morale to change the direction of schools that had been on a downward spiral for many years. She has raised expectations for adults and students to engage parents as partners in the educational process, and searched communities for collaborate partners committed to improving the lives of students. Through strong leadership, compelling visions, and leading cross functional teams, Dr. Karen Ratliff was able to improved school performance for over 200 schools setting them on a positive track. Thereby, improving student achievement, and graduation rates in her role as a professor and high education administrator. Dr. Ratliff is relatable, unexplainably a leader, and without a doubt passionate about other’s success.
